Abstract
1338004 Hand stamps H LEOPOLD 5 Aug 1971 [30 Sept 1970] 36915/71 Heading B6D A hand stamp comprises a plurality of characters 2, Fig. 1, each of resilient material and provided in its body 3 with a transverse slot 4 extending parallel to the base 5 and serving for threading the characters on a resilient bar 6, Fig. 3, of slightly larger cross-sectional dimensions whose ends are located in channels 10 at the ends of an arcuate plate 9 carried by a handle 7. The plate 9 is associated with a soft iron plate 12 coacting with magnetic stops 13 disposed at the ends of a line of characters 2 to locate the latter in position. The characters may be self-inking.
