Abstract

1331152 Crates BUKO MATERIALS HANDLING Ltd 7 Aug 1972 [1 Sept 1971] 40693/71 Heading B8P An open-topped rectangular crate has T- shaped openings in opposite side walls to allow the removal of articles therethrough. As shown, the crate comprises wire members 10, 12, 14, 18, 20, 24 and 26 which are welded together at their cross-over and meeting points, and a solid basepiece 16. Stacking rails 30 hinged to the two longer side walls have projections which support the base of an identical crate stacked thereon. The crates may be nested when the rails 30 are pivoted outwardly of the crate. In a modification, the crate is formed of plastics material and the side walls are solid.
