Abstract

1330534 Solvent composition IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 21 June 1971 [7 July 1979] 32949/70 Heading C5D A solvent composition for cleaning articles, such as a printed circuit board contaminated with soldering flux, comprises an azeotropic mixture of trichlorotrifluoroethane with isopropanol and nitro-methane. A preferred composition comprises 95.5% by wt. of 1,1,2-trichloro - 1,2,2 - trifluoroethane, 2.5% by wt. of isopropanol and 2% by wt. of nitromethane. Optional additives are cationic, anionic and non-ionic detergents and water.
