Abstract
1326495 Photographic developer concentrate FUJI PHOTO FILM CO Ltd 19 April 1971 [20 March 1970] 25940/71 Heading G2C A liquid concentrate for preparing a developer for lithographic silver halide materials is an acidic or neutral solution containing (1) ascorbic acid, araboascorbic acid and/or one or more water-soluble salts or isomers thereof, (2) hydroquinone; (3) a hydrophilic organic solvent for (1) and (2) and (4) water. Preferably the concentrate is used with an alkaline concentrated solution which contains the remaining ingredients needed for preparing the developer, at least one of the solutions containing a sulphite compound (e.g. a sulphite, bi-sulphite or adduct thereof). Preferably the second concentrate contains an alkali-metal bromide, a buffering agent, a sulphite, and optionally boric acid and a watersoftener.
