Abstract

1321021 Diving apparatus J K ARBUTHNOT 9 Feb 1972 [26 Feb 1971] 5587/71 Heading A6M A diving apparatus comprises a ladder leading to a platform, the platform being located above and adjacent a trampoline. The ladder may be formed by the cross braces 4 of a climbing frame 1 supporting the platform 7, the frame 9 of the trampoline 2 being secured to the climbing frame 1 on the opposite side to the ladder. The trampoline frame is provided with legs 11 and is preferably inclined downwardly away from the climbing frame 1 at about 5‹ to the horizontal. A sail cloth 14 is secured via beckets 16 and shock cord 17 to hooks 13 on the frame 9. In alternative arrangements the beckets 16 may be replaced by eyelets in the sail cloth, and the trampoline may be circular. If a circular trampoline is used the hooks 13 may be omitted and the cord wound directly onto the frame 9. The apparatus may be made of circular or rectangular section steel, and the platform of wood.
