A similar framing structure at the top edge of the panels is clamped to the lower structure and to the panels by means of a screw-threaded rod 21 with a nut at both ends or a stop 22 at one end and a nut 23 at the other. The supporting elements at junctions of panels may comprise cruciform channelled sections similarly clamped. The box structure may be staggered and the panel surfaces may be designed for acoustical control.
