Abstract

1320079 Boat covers for inflatable craft G DUSMET 14 July 1971 [27 Oct 1970 25 Nov 1970] 32986/71 Headings B7A and B7S An inflatable boat is provided with a cover 5 which can be either collapsed to give free access to the well of the boat (Fig. 1, not shown), or inflated to provide the shape shown which reduces drag should the boat capsize while being towed. The Specification describes a number of modifications in which the cover can form part of an inflatable body arranged to fit about the tubular hull members 1, the inflatable body may be in a number of separate sections and may consist of one or more double skin sections with means for inflating the space between the skins.
