Abstract

1319833 Damping apparatus in printing machines ADAMOVSKE STROJIRNY NARODNI PODNIK 21 Aug 1970 [22 Aug 1969] 40355/70 Heading B6C In a damping apparatus in an offset machine the distributing roller 9 is carried between end plates 15 in bearings situated within end bushes 1. A coacting damping roller 10 is carried in forks 16 in holder members 2 which are pivotable about the bushes 1 of the roller 9 each member 2 being open ended and enclosing the associated bush 1 to thereby allow play between the bush and the member. Attachment of the members to the bush is effected by a longitudinally movable wedge 3 which closes the open end of the member 2 and a spring-urged member 4 located between the top of the bush 1 and the inner end of the member 2. Contact pressure between the rollers is regulated through actuation of the wedges 3 byrotation of associated screws 6.
