Abstract

1316309 Rollers MINNESOTA MINING & MFG CO 16 Oct 1970 [17 Oct 1969] 49353/70 Heading F2U [Also in Division G2] A roll 10 which has a surface layer 13 of a silicone elastomer containing 0À1-20% of PTFE contacts a thermoplastic toner image on a paper sheet during the fusing of the image. A backing roll having a surface layer of silicone elastomer may also be employed. Either or both rolls may be heated.
