1312691 Hatch covers AS KVAERNER BRUG 8 July 1970 [9 July 1969] 33131/70 Heading B7S A hatch cover 4 of the kind provided with wheels 3 running on rails 2 which are located along the sides of the hatch coaming and which have gaps filled with bridging bars 5 movable vertically by a series of synchronized rams 8 to raise and lower the cover, is characterized by the provision of a shaft 11 which is rotated by movement of bars 5 to move dogs 18 to and from locking engagement with the cover as it is lowered and raised. The shaft carrier arms 12 and 16 which, respectively, engage slots 10, 17 in the bars 5 and dogs 18.
