1309072 Wall ties ECONA (G & B) PLASTICS Ltd 9 June 1970 [11 March 1969] 12689/ 69 Heading E1B A cavity wall tying element consists of a strip of rigid material adapted to fit within the wall cavity and formed with two or more longitudinally-extending recesses each capable of receiving and locking one end of a tie bar. As shown, the polyethylene or p.v.c. element 14 is provided with dovetail-sectioned recesses 15; plastics or metal tie bars 16 lock into the recesses. Pipes 17-19 may pass up vertically through the hollow element.
