Abstract

1,121,083. Building frameworks. H. S. EVANS. 27 July, 1965 [27 July, 1964], No. 29903/64. Heading E1K. Lattice structures for towers, scaffolding or bridges are built up from units of various forms which include a tongue 2 at one end, a slot 4 at the other end and lateral tongues 3, the slot 4 being adapted to accommodate the tongues 2, 3 of other units which are secured by bolts &c. in holes, 5, 7 &c. The slot 4 and the tongues 2, 3 are mounted at the end of arms 11, 13 to form elongated units. Triangular units Figs. 6 and 7 (not shown) are also provided which have arms 11 and 13 and struts 14 (not shown) connecting the tongues 2, 3 together. A connecting unit without arms 2, 3 is also provided.
