Abstract

1301777 Fluid-pressure servomotor systems P HAMMELMANN [trading as PAUL HAMMELMANN MASCHINENFABRIK] 5 Aug 1971 [8 Aug 1970] 36896/71 Heading G3P A relieve valve 4 having an annular surface 8 is lifted to connect an inlet 9 to a discharge passage 6 when the pressure in an outlet 11 reaches a sufficient value to lift a pilot valve 16 loaded by a spring 23 acting through a plunger 19. Inlet pressure admitted to a space 14 holds the valve 4 closed until a passage 17 is opened by the pilot valve. The spring-load may be adjusted by rotating a bolt 22 and a nut 25 and the pilot valve and plunger may be replaced to alter the effective area exposed to outlet pressure by unscrewing a housing 27. A non-return valve 3 is provided.
