Abstract

1,011,376. Valves. DAMIC CONTROLS Ltd. Oct. 28, 1964 [Oct. 30, 1963], No. 42875/63. Heading F2V. A pressure relief valve includes a body formed of interfitting axially movable parts 1 and 2 having an inlet and outlet connection 3 and 4 respectively. The part 1 is formed with a conical seating 7 and the part 2 houses a piston valve 8 loaded into engagement with the seat 7 by a spring 9. A nut 12 co-operates with the parts 1 and 2 so that they may be moved axially relative to one another to vary the loading of the spring. The nut may be locked in a selected position by set screws 17.
