Abstract
1399619 Coated products HOECHST AG 26 June 1972 [26 June 1971 22 July 1971] 29872172 Heading B2E '[Also in Division C3] Test rods and plates made by moulding and curing a thermosetting moulding composition comprising (A) an unsaturated polyester derived from a carboxylic acid component comprising terephthalic and/or isophthalic acid and fumaric acid and a dehydric alcohol, (B) a copolymerisable monomer, (C) a peroxide catalyst, and (D) an inorganic filler component which consists of or includes finely divided red phosphorous and finely divided talc, are coated with lacquers based on an acrylate resin with a hydroxy number of 80, composed of styrene, acrylic acid and glycidyl ester of a long chained fatty acid. The lacquers may optionally contain a titanium dioxide pigment and the coatings may 'be air dried or stoved.
