Abstract

1398269 Panels for hoists ACE MACHINERY Ltd 17 Jan 1973 [5 Nov 1971] 51551/71 Heading B8H [Also in Division F2] A tower panel which is suitable for use in constructing a tower for a building site hoist comprises a pair of upright tubes 10 which are connected by cross-piece tubes 11, there being a pin 12 protruding from adjacent the top of each upright tube 10 for connection to side piece members (not shown) which are used in the construction of the tower, each pin 12 locating a sleeve 13 protruding from the top of each tube 10 and each pin 12 extends into and is braced to the upper cross-piece tube 11. The sleeves 13 each have an aperture (14) therein, Fig. 2 (not shown), which aligns with an aperture (15) located adjacent the bottom of a corresponding upright tube of a similar panel which is placed over the shown panel when constructing the tower, the two panels being held together by means of pins (not shown) which are inserted in the aligned apertures (14, 15).
