Abstract

547,024. Portable buildings; roofs. BURTON, J. Feb. 3, 1941, No. 1412. [Classes 20 (i), 20 (ii) and 20 (iv)] A building comprises a roof truss formed of tubular members 9, 10, 11 connected together, and uprights 18 also of tubes and adapted to support plates 17 as described in Specification 547,023, to which are connected opposed angle bars 16 between which the ends of the truss members are bolted for supporting the truss. The ends of the tubular members are provided with flattened pintles 12 the flats on the different pintles lying in different axial planes with respect to the tubular members so that when secured together in overlapping relationship, the tubular members may lie in a common plane.
