Abstract

1392180 Roof Flashings R S COOK 4 April 1972 [24 June 1971 37892/72 Divided out of 1392179 Headings E1B and E1W A roof fitment for the non-draining edge of a flat roof comprises a barrier element 43 integral at one edge with a flashing element 31 and at its other edge with a facia element 33 at right angles to the flashing element, and a sofpit element integral with and extending laterally of the facia element to underline the barrier element. The fitment is preferably made of glass fibre reinforced P.V.C. or polyester. Adjacent sections are connected together by sealing strips having a V-section groove to allow differential expansion.
