Abstract
1391628 Suspended ceiling with heating or cooling elements STRAMAX AG 19 May 1972 [22 May 1971] 23660/72 Heading E1W [Also in Division F4] Plasterboard panels 2 are suspended from heating or cooling elements in turn suspended from the structural ceiling 1. The heating elements comprise pipes 3 over which are clipped heat exchanging fins 6 which extend longitudinally of the pipes. The pipes are secured in the channel 5 of the fin structure 6 by means of a slotted plate 8 to which are adjustably secured hangers 10. The hangers are adjusted by means of a slot and clamping screw. The fins are free to slide longitudinally of the pipes. Panels are either secured to the side flanges of the fins 6 by screws 7 or an inverted T-section bracket engages its side flanges in the edges of adjacent panels and a hook in the stem portion engages over the heating pipes, (Fig. 4) not shown. Specification 1391629 relating to the T-section bracket is referred to.
