Abstract

1,155,265. Skirting board. P. R. DEUSS and A. G. RICHARDS. 15 June, 1966 [21 June, 1965], No. 26187/65. Heading E1B. A skirting board 18 is attached to a wall by one or more locating members 2 which permit vertical adjustment of the mounted skirting board, the skirting board being provided with flanges 20, 22 which engage in vertically open slots 10, 12 defined, respectively, between the member 2 and the wall, and at the base of the member 2. A support clip 28 attached to or integral with the members 2 may support cables or pipes within the skirting. The clips 28 may be also attached to or be integral with the skirting board, and may be of thermally conductive material for carrying heated pipes, the skirting board having air circulation slots formed along its length. Means for additionally locating the skirting board in predetermined vertical positions relative to the locating member may be provided.
