1378390 Crash restraint devices IRVIN INDUSTRIES Inc 16 Dec 1971 48191/73 Divided out of 1378389 Heading B7B An inflatable crash restraint bag for a vehicle comprises, at least in part, a woven stretch fabric which is permeable to the inflating gas and whose permeability increases with increasing pressure within the bag and decreases with decreasing pressure within the bag. The stretch fabric may form the whole bag and may be coated with a permeable plastics material. A portion of the bag may also be formed from or coated with an impermeable plastics material.
