Abstract

1376035 Rotary flowmeters SIEMENS A G 10 Aug 1972 [16 Sept 1971] 37260/72 Heading G 1 R [ Also in Division F1] In a flowmeter in which a partition wall 7 is located between inlet and outlet orifices 10, 11 in a metering chamber of an oscillating annular or disc shaped piston metering apparatus the wall 7 is housed in a groove 15 in the metering element 12 and rest on a resilient seal 14 located in the groove 15. The seal 14 may be circular in crosssection and fitted on the end 13 of the wall 7 to allow the element to pivot about the seal 14 and at the same time allow the groove 15 to slide over the seal 14. The seal may by located in the bottom of the groove and be of circular cross section Fig. 1 (not shown), or of rectangular crosssection slidably located in the groove and pivotal about the end of wall 7, Fig. 3 (not shown).
