Abstract
1375019 Ink - releasing member BURROUGHS CORP 4 Nov 1971 [18 Nov 1970] 51345/71 Heading D2B A reusable ink-releasing member comprises a composite film substrate, a binder layer of a linear polyester material on at least one surface of the substrate, and a plastic inkreleasing layer on the binder, the composite film substrate having an overall thickness of 0.5 to 2.5 mils and being a polyester/polypropylene, polypropylene/polyvinylidene chloride, or polyester film/polyester fibre composite. The ink-releasing layer preferably comprises at least one organic resin, a coloured material which is a pigment or a dye and a pigment, and an organic liquid vehicle for the coloured material.
