1365482 Pipe couplings PHETCO (ENGLAND) Ltd 2 Nov 1971 [3 Nov 1970] 52314/70 Heading F2G In a moulded elastomeric pipe-connecting sleeve, having an internal flange 11, sealing fins 14 are doubled back, on inserting pipes to be connected, so that ribs 22 engage the pipe surfaces. An additional sealing ring of soft rubber may be arranged between a pair of fins 14. The ring is of obtuse angle dihedral section and has ribs, such as 22, to engage the pipe surface.
