Abstract

1365361 Skirting boards INDUSTRIELE ONDERNEMING WAVIN NV 8 Sept 1971 [11 Sept 1970] 41809/71 Heading E1B A one-piece plastics skirting board has a rear portion 1 joined at its lower edge to a front portion 2 by a connector 5 having a longitudinally extending groove 6 defining a pivot axis, the front and rear portions also including inter-engageable snap-action fasteners 7, 8. The groove may have a depth and a radius of curvature of respectively ¢ and 1¢ times the wall thickness of the skirting board. Vertical slots are provided in the rear portion to receive nails 12. The snap-action fasteners 7, 8 may either extend the full length of the skirting board or be in the form of discrete, spaced projections.
