Abstract

1363132 Guiding webs DEERING MIL- LIKEN RESEARCH CORP 26 July 1971 [24 July 1970] 35028/71 Heading B8R [Also in Divisions D1 and F2] A flanged roller 60 for transporting strip material having coated edges is provided with a convexly curved central peripheral surface portion 62 for guiding and tracking the strip, and with circumferentially extending recesses 64, 66 adjacent the respective flanges 70, the recesses allowing the coated edges of the strip to avoid contact with the surface of the roller.
