Abstract

1355713 Suspending facing slabs on buildings E HAEUSSLER 26 May 1971 [3 June 1970 24 Oct 1970 15 Jan 1971] 17086/71 Heading E1W Facing slabs 1 are suspended on a building 2 so as to provide for adjustment of the slabs in the three orthogonal directions. An anchorage channel 3 or plate is fixed to the building and a suspension element is hooked over it so as to permit relative horizontal adjustment along the channel. The suspension element comprises at least two parts 6, 19 interconnected by a nut 11 allowing adjustment of their combined length to adjust the slabs vertically. An adjustable spacer 13 braces the slab 1 away from the building. The position of the hook 8 may be fixed in the channel 3 by a bolt 17.
