Abstract
1347630 Net-making loom ZANG ETABS 20 April 1972 [24 June 1971] 18322/72 Heading D1C In a net-making loom in which sets of first and second threads 5, 10 a knotted by rows of first and second needles 1, 2 a bar 11 is displaced to cover the points of the first needles while the knots are tightened. A loop 4 of each first thread is formed around pairs of needles. Hooked needles 6 draw loops 7, 7a of the thread over bobbins 9 containing second threads 10. As the first threads are pulled to return the loops 7, 7a and tighten the knots, threads 10 are pulled through the loops 4. The bar 11 is swung down about its axle, so that holes 12 or slots cover the needle points. Velvet 22 covers the front of the bar.
