Abstract

1340059 Prefabricated buildings R FELSON 18 Dec 1970 [31 Dec 1969] 60294/70 Heading E1A A building is constructed from prefabricated units such as 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38 and 40 each of which includes at least two integral load-bearing panels disposed normal to one another. The units may be made of re-inforced concrete or constructed from polyurethane moulded about an aluminium frame, plumbing and electrical services being incorporated therein as desired, see Figs. 6-8 (not shown). The roof sections co-operate to have a square aperture which is filled by a utility unit 20 which may include air-conditioning and heating equipment. The walls are interconnected by spigot-and socket arrangement incorporated therein and by U-shaped seating caps with spicks, see Figs. 9-13 (not shown). For a modified arrangement applied to a multi-storey building Figs. 3, 4 and 5 (not shown), should be referred to.
