Abstract
1,234,453. Reciprocating pumps and motors. VON ROLL A.G. June 14, 1968 [June 14, 1967], No.28596/68. Heading F1A. In a hydraulic pump or motor of the axial piston tilting head type, the pivot head 10 is detachably connected to the support body 5 by screws 13 and brackets 9, and the cylinder block 16 is tilted about the pivots 11, housed in the brackets 9, by means of the adjustment pin 22; the drive shaft 1 is mounted in 5 on the bearings 3<SP>1</SP>, 3<SP>11</SP> and 4. Conduits 20 serve for the inflow and outflow of the operating media. Adhesives may be used to increase the co-efficient of friction between the adjoining surfaces of 5 and 9. In another embodiment a tilting head is disposed on each side of a central gear driven drive plate Figs. 3 and 4, (not shown).
