Abstract

1,226,651. Scraper conveyer chains and channels. GEWERKSCHAFT EISENHUTTE WESTFALIA. 27 March, 1968 [30 May, 1967; 5 Sept., 1967], No. 14753/68. Heading B8A. A double-chain scraper conveyer, comprises a channel track which has a horizontal floor 3 extending between two side walls 7 provided with chain guide passages 33, the floor dividing the channel track into a conveying run and a return run, two parallel endless chains 26 disposed in the channel track and interconnected at intervals by scraper elements 5, the chains having vertical and horizontal oval links 26, 25 and being arranged so that the vertical links lie laterally beside the guide passages, and wear resistant guide pieces 27, 28 arranged in the guide passages, the two chains being held apart by the scraper elements at such a distance that the horizontal links of the chains are disposed with their outer sides in the guide passages and are guided therein. The elements 5 are conected to the chains 26 by links 11 which are formed with blocks 15 which engage the passages 33. Similar links 11 are described in Specification 1,226,652.
