Abstract

1471523 Guiding conveyer chains WADKIN Ltd 26 April 1974 [28 April 1973] 19800/73 Heading B8A In order to guide the links 3 of a conveyer chain into and out of engagement with a chain wheel 2 so that the links, immediately prior to engagement or immediately subsequent to disengagement, are moving in the same direction as their prior or subsequent motion, guides 9, 10, which extend to the points of engagement and disengagement, are provided to contact the links. Plates 3 on the links engage an upper chain track 7 and the links are supported by a lower chain track 8 on their lower run. As shown each link has an arcuate projection 5 which engages the guides 9, 10.
