A device for cleaning electro-photographic copy sheets 13 to remove excess toner present after development comprises an inclined guide plate 5, feed rollers 6, 7, 8 and 9 and pipe 12 for cleaning liquid supplied from a reservoir 2 by a pump 10. In a modification, a guide plate (25) Fig.2 (not shown) is transversely inclined to the direction of sheet travel. In a further modification, a guide plate (36) Fig. 3 (not shown) is inclined in the direction of sheet travel and curved transversely.
