Abstract

1,218,323. Skirting ducting for distribution arrangements. GREENWOOD AIRVAC CONDUITS Ltd. 13 Nov., 1969 [13 Jan., 1969], No. 1958/69. Addition to 1,155,668. Headings H2C and H2E. In the ducting of the parent Specification there is provided an insert member 1 for holding solid conductor bars 5 in spaced relationship and fitting snugly within one of the strips 10. The insert member 1 is a snap fit in the strip 10 and is held in place between a shoulder 2 and the inner wall of the U-shaped socket 3. A gap may be left between two lengths of insert member, and where the conductors bridge the gap, a connector clamp (6, Fig. 1) may be applied to them, for the connection of electric leads (7, Fig. 1), and a shield (20, Fig. 1) may be fitted over the exposed portion between the insert members. Both insert member and shield may be extruded from plastics material.
