Abstract

1308967 Electric couplings MK ELECTRIC Ltd 19 April 1971 [12 June 1970 14 July 1970] 28598/70 and 34130/70 Heading H2E [Also in Division E2] A flex grip comprises two flexible plastics plates 25, their rear edges set in slots 22 and their front edges gripping the flex. Their rear edges may be thickened 26 to make an interference fit in the enlarged base 23 of the slot, and their front edges may be roughened to grip the cable better (Fig. 5, not shown). They may be used in a ceiling rose (Fig. 6, not shown) and may be of other material, e.g. metal, or made as part of the plug body if it is of suitable material. The angle between the plates is preferably about 130 degrees.
