Abstract

1,212,375. Spray producers. J. R. GEIGY A.G. 17 Nov., 1967 [19 Sept., 1967], No. 20696/70. Divided out of 1,212,373. Heading B2F. An aerosol dispenser comprising a propellant reservoir 43 surrounded by a container for the product to be dispensed, both fastened to a mounting 2, a push button 8 containing a spray nozzle 9 and having an associated tubular stem 7 which allows the product and propellant to travel to the nozzle and is slidingly arranged in a central passage 6 in the body 2 of the mounting, has an obturator for the propellant path a gasket 15 fitted in a recess 65 in the body of the mounting which recess is a part of the central passage directed towards the propellant reservoir, the reservoir having a neck 69 attached to a peripheral zone 68 of the body outside the recess and the gasket being secured in the recess by a fastening ring 66 a peripheral portion 71 of which ring is fastened between the neck of the reservoir and the body of the mounting. The ring may be formed integrally with the neck of the reservoir.
