Abstract

1,205,007. Multiple tubing. KABELUND METALLWERKE GUTEHOFFNUNGSHUTTE A.G. 21 Feb., 1969 [2 March, 1968], No. 9432/69. Heading F2P. A plastics pipe comprises a number of tubes which are made e.g. of polyethylene and which are suitable for use in the pneumatic or hydraulic, transmission of measurements, control pulses &c., the tubes forming a loose bundle of two or more tubes extending substantially parallel with one another and being disposed within a sleeve 5 which is made e.g. of polyvinyl chloride, does not grip the bundle of tubes, and is a sufficiently loose fit upon them to enable the tubes to slide relative to one another and to the inner wall of the sleeve 5. The latter is applied to the tubes 1-4 by pressure or vacuum extrusion. The pipes may be grouped and fastened together on the unit construction principle. Individual tubes 1-4 may be marked with colour code, numerals, or other distinguishing marks, markings of tubes in groups preferably being displaced rotationally by 180 degrees at alternate occurrences.
