Abstract

1298071 Attaching connectors; jointing by forging JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd 20 April 1970 [9 June 1969] 29034/69 Headings B3A and B3H [Also in Division H2] An electrical terminal 12 is made by extrusion and the bared end 19 of an electric lead is joined to the terminal by swaging a circumferential groove 22 in the terminal. The end of the terminal nearest the lead is also deformed to hold the lead. The terminal may be brass and the lead insulation may be synthetic resin.
