Abstract
1295680 Shuttle tips R MULLER 5 Dec 1969 59597/69 Heading DIE A shuttle tip has a generally conical surface 2, a base 5 and a bevelled transition surface 4 which forms an obtuse angle with the conical surface 2. The tip preferably includes a stud 9 engageable with a shuttle body and a plastically deformable ring (3) may serve as an intermediate layer between the tip and shuttle body. The base may be flat or concave and the conical surface may have two points 7, 7a or a series of teeth (Fig. 5, not shown).
