Abstract

1283810 Magnesium aspartate hydrohalides H J V EHRLICH [trading as VERLAPHARM ARZNEIMITTEL-FABRIK] 30 Dec 1970 61705/70 Heading C2C Novel compounds of formula wherein Hal represents F, Cl, Br or I, are prepared by reacting a solution of magnesium diaspartate with the hydrohalic acid. Pharmaceutical compositions in conventional forms comprise an above novel salt and a carrier and are useful as sedatives and tranquillizers and in the treatment of thyrotoxicosis and magnesium deficiency for example, as a prophylactic against caries.
