Abstract
1280288 Pyrimidopyrimidines DR KARL THOMAE GmbH 19 April 1971 [30 Jan 1970] 20659/71 Heading C2C Compounds of the general formula (R 1 = C 1-4 alkyl, C 2-6 hydroxyalkyl, C 3-4 methoxyalkyl; R 2 = C 4-6 hydroxyalkyl) are prepared by (a) reducing a compound of the formula and oxidizing the product, or (b) reacting a compound of the formula (A = atom or group which may be interchanged with NR 1 R 2 by reaction with an appropriate amine and A 1 , A 2 = morpholino, or A = NR 1 R 2 and at least one of A 1 , A 2 = atom or group which may be interchanged with morpholino by reaction with morpholine, the remaining A 1 or A 2 representing morpholino when only one of A 1 , A 2 represents the interchangeable atom or group) with R 1 R 2 NH or morpholine. The above compounds possess heart and circulation activity and inhibit the aggregation of thrombocytes. They may be administered in the form of pharmaceutical preparations containing them in association with a carrier.
