Abstract

1280513 Air humidifier DEFENSOR AG 9 Sept 1969 [11 Sept 1968] 44550/69 Heading B1R An air humidifier which is fitted so that an upper part of a rotor projects into an aircarrying duct 2 comprises a frame 8 which is secured to a flange 6 surrounding an opening 4 in the duct 2 and which carries a rotor 30 mounted for rotation by a motor 20, and a tank 14 for containing water into which the rotor will dip at a lower peripheral part, the tank being releasably secured to the frame. The rotor comprises gauze discs rigidly mounted on a shaft 28, the axis of the shaft may be perpendicular to the discs or the discs may be mounted as shown at a small angle to the vertical.
