Abstract
1,069,010. Air humidifiers. HANKSCRAFT CO. Dec. 29, 1964, No. 52719/64. Heading B1R. An air humidifier of the type wherein water is delivered from a reservoir to a rotating disc by a pump rotated with the disc by an electric motor has an air flow passage between a housing 80 for the electric motor and a domed cover 12 which is divided internally into sections communicating with air inlet openings 38 in the domed cover and sections which lead humidified air to an outlet 40 which has a cylindrical member 60 which can be raised or lowered so that the lower portion thereof is moved to obstruct the air outlet passage below the outlet 40 to a lesser or greater extent. The air inlet sections of the air flow passage are between pairs of vanes extending outwardly from the motor housing into contact with the cover 12. The water atomising disc is surrounded by a slotted ring which in turn is surrounded by a pan which returns water to the reservoir. Most parts of the apparatus may be made of plastics material.
