Abstract
1280054 Trailers; hand carts M B TANSEY 4 March 1970 10481/70 Heading B7B A trailer is convertible into a hand cart by an attachment including a longitudinally slidable tow bar 2 and pivotally mounted legs 4a, 4b which pivot downwardly from the Fig. 4 position to the Fig. 3 position upon retraction of the tow bar. The legs prevent accidental tipping of the cart and may be arranged longitudinally of the tow bar or at each of the four corners of the cart. Pins (10 or 12) Fig. 1 (not shown), can be inserted through U-brackets (6) welded to chassis members (8) and the tow bar 2 to secure the bar.
