A tubular framework hand truck has transverse members 7 provided with slots 8, 8<SP>1</SP>, and fixed pins 13 to support shelves 9, 9<SP>1</SP>, having end flanges 11, 11<SP>1</SP> slotted at 12, 121 to receive the pins 13 and having pins 10, 10<SP>1</SP> to ride in the slots 8, 8<SP>1</SP> thus allowing the shelves to be moved outwardly and downwardly to facilitate loading articles 15 on to suitable support 14.
