1278546 Armour-piercing shells WERKZEUGMASCHINENFABRIK OERLIKONBUHRLE AG 30 July 1970 [5 Aug 1969] 36890/70 Heading F3A A shell comprises an armour-piercing member 20 and a base fuze 31 for detonating an explosive charge 24. Fragmentation grooves 23 are provided in the casing 17. A steel driving band 22 is carried by a ballistic cap 16.
