Abstract
1,269,458. Shelving. A. CRESPI. Jan, 14, 1971 [Jan.23, 1970J, No.1805/71. Heading A4B. [Also in Division 86 ] A shelving or rack assembly includes a wooden upright 1 with a longitudinal slot 4 in each side face and with a plurality of inwardly and upwardly directed transverse slots 3 in its front face 2 and a plurality of metal shelves 15 each having an upwardly bent inner end 14 selectively engaged in a slot 3, each shelf 15 having corrugations extending between its inner and outer ends. The corrugations may be triangular or part-circular. The shelf 15 may incline upwardly and forwardly, as in Fig. 1, and have a beaded outer edge 16. Alternatively Fig. 4, the supporting part 18 of the shelf is horizontal and has an upturned front end 19. Spaced uprights 1 may be inter-connected at their upper and lower ends by members engaged in grooves 6 in the ends and by panels extending between the uprights 1 and engaged in the longitudinal slots 4.
