Abstract

1,263,265. Pneumatic separation. CO-OPERATIVE WHOLESALE SOCIETY Ltd. 6 March, 1969 [6 March, 1968], No. 10968/68. Heading B2H. The subject-matter of this specification is identical with that described in Specification 1,263,264 .... but the claims are concerned with a winnowing machine in which a downwardly inclined, material-supporting, apertured screen extends across a vertical passage from an inlet for untreated raw material to an outlet for the desired product and in which an axial-flow fan forces air, via flow-straightening vanes, upwardly along the passage and through the screen so that waste material is carried therefrom by the air stream towards a discharge outlet. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,075,469.
