Abstract
1,243,875. Knitting - machines. ELITEXZAVODY TEXTILNIHO STROJIRENSTVI GENERALNI REDITELSTVI. 5 June, 1969 [26 June, 1968], No. 28390/69. Heading D1C. A stop motion device active upon build up of yarn on the needles, a defective latch or uncut yarn comprises a feeler having active and guiding parts 7, 6 respectively joined by an elastic member, e.g. a spring 9. The feeler is biased in its casing 5 outwards of the needle cylinder by a spring 10, but is held in its active position by engagement of a detent 14 in a recess 11. If the part 7 is deflected by any of the adverse conditions noted the dentent is disengaged and the feeler springs outwards. Contacts 12 on the feeler make with contacts 15, 16.
