Abstract

1,116,274. Cleats. TRICOUNI, SOC. ANON, and R. GENENBACH. 6 May, 1966 [10 May, 1965], No. 20179/66. Heading E2A. A rope cleat comprises two wedging elements 4, 4' of V-form connected together by an arm 3, the limbs of the elements being directed in opposite directions and being arranged in parallel planes at a short distance from one another with the rope 9 passing between the elements and forming a Z, one limb of each element being longer than the other, the longer limb of one element having a hooking member 5 provided with a rope-engaging lug 6 and the longer limb of the other of the elements having a ropeengaging hook 8.
